Ryan started tutoring over 15 years ago at a local, family-owned business in Menlo Park. Initially a side job to support other pursuits, Ryan’s interest and enjoyment of tutoring quickly grew, as did his time commitment to his students. An avid learner, Ryan’s wide ranging interests made him a natural fit with many student’s different needs. Studies in music theory, history, and composition at Yale University, and world travels as both a circus performer and tutor have given Ryan a unique background to utilize when helping students tackle their own learning challenges. Whether prepping for an exam, brainstorming for a paper, learning to read, or drafting a college application essay, Ryan’s experience with over 100 students provides him with great tools to help students succeed and enjoy learning.
